Tennis Open Day

Open Day

I had a great time at the Aylesbury Tennis Club Open Day. There was a slight breeze, so putting up the gazebo was interesting. One of the canvas walls was needed to stop the wind circling in and blowing over the books on the table. This was a tennis fun day open to the public. The aim was to let them try tennis for free to see if they enjoyed it. All the kids had a great time with coaching sessions provided by JWT. Adults could have a go too, even if they had never picked up a racket before.

Fortunately, we didn’t get any rain and the sun shone through on the packed tennis courts. There was a constant stream of families coming in due to the half hour coaching slots. This was great for me as they came to my table to look at the books on offer.

I am creating books all the time. The ones on show were for toddlers and kids as well as a colouring book for adults. I plan to create more books for adult’s mental wellbeing. The unicorn colouring book was a particular favourite. I was also pleased that everyone agreed to join my email list so I can keep them informed when my future books are published. I was able to display a variety of my books. These included colouring books for toddlers and kids, as well as dot to dot books. There were various notebooks, sheet music and exercise books for school and college work as well.
