Pinkbee Books may collect personal information when you choose to contact me through the website Contact form.
This may include:

- the subject of your enquiry; and
- the message you send.
The website and its hosting infrastructure may also process limited technical information, such as an IP address, where necessary for the operation and security of the website.
Pinkbee Books does not operate a newsletter or mailing list and does not collect personal information for email marketing.
How is your information collected?
You provide your information directly when you complete and submit the Contact form.
How is your information used?
Information submitted through the Contact form is used only to:
- read and respond to your enquiry;
- correspond with you where necessary in connection with that enquiry; and
- maintain the security and proper operation of the website.
Pinkbee Books does not sell your personal information or use Contact-form information for marketing.
Lawful basis for using your information
The lawful basis for processing information submitted through the Contact form is legitimate interests.
The legitimate interest is being able to receive and respond to enquiries from people who choose to contact Pinkbee Books.
This use of personal information is limited to what is reasonably necessary to respond to your enquiry and would normally be expected when somebody chooses to make contact through the website.
How is your information stored?
The Contact form uses WPForms Lite.
Contact-form entries are not stored as entries in the Pinkbee Books WordPress database. A submitted message is sent to Pinkbee Books by email.
Emails containing Contact-form enquiries may be retained for up to 12 months after the enquiry has been dealt with, after which they will normally be deleted unless there is a legitimate reason or legal requirement to retain them for longer.
Service providers involved in hosting the website and delivering website or email services may process information where necessary to provide those services.
Your data protection rights
Depending on the circumstances, UK data protection law may give you rights including:
- the right to request access to personal information held about you;
- the right to ask for inaccurate information to be corrected;
- the right to request deletion of your information in certain circumstances;
- the right to request restriction of processing in certain circumstances; and
